With advances in medicine and science, the rates of twin births are higher than they've ever been.
But that doesn't make them any less special.
In my own family there are no twins, even in my extended family, so I'm always a little jealous of celebrities who are doubly blessed with two adorable children.
And it seems like celebrities are even likelier to have twins than the rest of us:
1. Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins Maximilian and Emme in 2008, the children of her then-husband, singer Marc Anthony.
The couple have since divorced, but J-Lo insists they're "great friends" and "great parents together."
The singer is raising her now 10-year-old twins with the help of her current boyfriend, baseball player Alex Rodriguez.
2. Steve Harvey
The talk show host, game show host and comedian has seven children from his three marriages (including his three stepchildren).
His first wife, Marcia Harvey, gave birth to twin daughters named Karli and Brandi.
Now fully grown, Harvey's daughters appeared on his show for "Twin Week."
3. Chuck Norris
The action movie legend has seven children from his two marriages, including a pair of stepchildren and a lovechild who he didn't meet until she was fully grown.

5. Denzel Washington
This movie star is a devoted husband: he's been married to his wife Pauletta Pearson since 1983, and they have three children together.
His twins, Olivia and Malcolm, seem to be interested in the family business.
Malcolm earned a degree in film studies while Olivia had a role in The Butler.
6. Al Pacino
The Godfather star is a proud papa to three children, including twins Anton James and Olivia Rose with actress Beverly D'Angelo.
Despite being in his late 70s, the actor seems to have no problems keeping up with his teenage children.
7. Robert De Niro
There must have been something in the water on the set of The Godfather Part II, because Pacino's costar Robert De Niro also has twins.
Two of De Niro's six children from multiple marriages and relationships are twins.
Aaron and Julian were born via in vitro fertilization on a surrogate, while De Niro was dating model Toukie Smith.
8. Chris Hemsworth
The Australian hunk from Thor and his wife, actress Elsa Pataky, love to show off their growing family on social media.
The pair have a daughter named India and twin boys Tristan and Sasha.
9. Dennis Quaid

The pair have a set of twins together, Thomas and Zoey.
After splitting, reuniting and splitting again, the couple are currently fighting for custody of the twins.

The former NFL player, former Live host, and current host of Good Morning America has a pair of twin daughters with his ex-wife Jean Muggli.

12. Celine Dion
The "My Heart Will Go On" singer became a single mom when her husband Rene Angelil passed away from a heart attack in 2016.
But Dion seems to be doing a great job raising her twins, Eddy and Nelson, along with their older brother René-Charles.
13. George Clooney
The world is still waiting anxiously for the first glimpse of the Ocean's 11 star's twins with lawyer Amal Clooney last year.
Whether Ella and Alexander look more like their mom or dad, there's no denying they'll be adorable.
14. Ricky Martin
The chart-topping Latin singer took a three year break from his career to raise his sons Matteo and Valentino, who were born to a surrogate mother.
Martin has since married the Syrian and Swedish painter Jwan Yosef.
15. Kenny Rogers

The pair have a daughter named Talia and a set of twins, Sullivan and Darby.

Yes, the comedian's real life twin sons Matt and Gregory inspired the twin boys on his TV show, Everybody Loves Raymond.
Sadly, one of the child stars from the show lived a tragic life.
