The long lines at checkout stations in major retail stores are tiresome, but necessary to wait in.
If you're like the majority of people in line, you count the number of items each person has and try to calculate how long it will take until it's your turn.
When that one person whips out a parcel of change, you can't help but exhale sharply.
One woman's viral Facebook photo of a Walmart cashier helping a customer count change will melt your heart.
Spring Bowlin's post received more than 40,000 shares and more than 74,000 likes, inspiring people around the country to learn from the cashier's kindness and patience.
Take a look at the post!
Bowlin stood behind a man in a Walmart checkout line who took out a handful of change to pay for his items.
He looked anxious, thinking that he's going to be wasting a lot of people's time. The man miscounts the change, his hands and voice shaking as he apologizes again to Bowlin and the cashier.
"This is not a problem, honey. We will do this together," the cashier said. They count the change, he apologizes again, and then shuffles away with his items.
Bowlin thanks the cashier for her patience and kind gesture.
"You shouldn't have to thank me, baby. What's wrong with our world is we've forgotten how to love one another."
Bowlin says she's inspired by the cashier and wants "to be more like her."
Facebook users loved the kind gesture.
