Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher already had their hands full with raising a toddler and preparing for their upcoming baby, but it wasn't enough to deter them from making their family even bigger.
The country superstar and her hockey player husband just welcomed a new addition to their family, and although it wasn't the one fans were expecting, he is still quite adorable.
Underwood and Fisher just adopted a puppy, and he made his debut on Instagram a few days ago.
"Meet the newest member of our family!" Fisher captioned a snap of the German Shepherd.
The doting dad also revealed the pooch's name, crediting their son choosing the cute moniker.
"Isaiah affectionately named him Zero," Fisher wrote.
The athlete then jokingly explained that the name is fitting because "it's the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home."
Zero will not only have to get used to sharing Underwood and Fisher's attention with Isaiah and the family's other dogs, Ace and Penny, he will soon have to make room for the couple's second child.
Underwood, who announced her pregnancy last August, is reportedly due in the few weeks.
The "Love Wins" singer, who is expecting a boy, has been sharing her third trimester struggles with fans on social media, including her inability to tie her own shoes, fit in her clothes, and the lack of sleep.
The American Idol winner will surely have a lot going on with a new pup and baby, but with her team of "sweet helpers," she does not have much to worry about.
