After Carrie Underwood was hospitalized last month after falling on the steps outside her home, it has become clear that it hasn't dampened her holiday spirit.
The fall landed her in the hospital with a broken wrist and required surgery to fix.
The country superstar was forced to cancel her upcoming appearance at the Country Rising benefit show in Nashville as a result of her injury and surgery.
"Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well...even though I'll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on," she tweeted. "I'm so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family & friends who've been taking such great care of me."

She was expected to make a full recovery just in time for the holidays, and it seems that's exactly what has happened.
She even shared a new Christmas tradition that she started with her son this year.
Carrie Underwood's home is clearly full of holiday cheer!
The "Before He Cheats" singer got her first taste of the popular Christmas tradition- baking Christmas cookies! With some help from her 2 1/2 year old son, Isaiah Michael.
"Made Christmas cookies with the little man today," the 34-year-old singer captioned a photo of her son decorating a tree cookie.
The adorable photo pictured her son sitting in his high chair decorating a Christmas tree cookie which was covered in red sprinkles, green and red M&Ms and some yellow frosting to serve as the star on top.
"I actually don't think I've ever made Christmas cookies before but this will definitely be a new tradition in the Fisher household!" she added. "Newsflash: Isaiah likes frosting (shocker)! 🎄"
And for a first attempt, it looks like they did a great job!
Her husband, retired NHL player Mike Fisher, is enjoying his time away from the rink.
"Daddy day care tip #1: always go to the playground next to the pond #catchinhogs," the hockey star shared.
The adorable couple are always making us laugh.
Aside from Carrie's nasty fall, it looks like this adorable family is getting excited for the holidays!
