On Wednesday, Melania Trump celebrated her birthday and President Trump took to Twitter to send out his best wishes to the First Lady.
Melania celebrated her 47th birthday in Washington D.C. where she attended a luncheon for Senate spouses at the National Gallery of Art.
Later in the evening the Trumps had a private celebration planned in the White House residence.
The well-wishes from the President on Twitter, didn't go unnoticed.
He sent out a Tweet wishing his wife a Happy Birthday, and then people got angry when they saw the mistake. Can you spot it?

Did you see it?
Here's a closer look.
This is so weird: The American flag on @FLOTUS Melania Trump's birthday card only has 39 stars.

And here's what people had to say about the mistake:
Um. Melania's card only has 39 stars. How do you screw THAT up? pic.twitter.com/FhXvbZyTOE

@chrislhayes Wonder which 11 states are slated for destruction? #39StarFlag pic.twitter.com/KKkIS1ElZB

@chrislhayes @christinawilkie @FLOTUS @eventsforgood there wouldn't ever have been a flag with 39 stars, though, since the Dakotas were admitted the same month as #39 and #40!

The U.S. flag has had 13 stripes and 50 stars since 1960- but people were baffled by this image because the flag has never had 39 stars in it's history.
In 1877 the flag had 38 stars for 13 years until it was updated to include 5 more states that joined.
This wasn't the first time that the President used the incorrect graphic. A week earlier he included the 39-star flag in a message welcoming Aya Hijazi, an Egyptian-American aid worker home to the U.S.
