Within the country music world, there is a hierarchy of country royalty.
Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Reba, just to name a few.
But I think it's safe to say that Garth Brooks is pretty darn close to the top of that list.
The 55-year-old music legend has released 14 studio albums, 13 Grammy nominations (2 wins), and has won 22 Academy of Country Music Awards. He has also been nominated for a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Award. Top that with being in the Country Music Hall of Fame, and Brooks has solidified his status as King of Country.
Garth has been around for a while, and this performance of "Friend In Low Places" from 1990 is just a big throwback. It really show us how far country music has come, and how even the best songs can stand the test of time!
