We're only halfway through 2018, and there's already a huge celebrity baby boom happening. In the month of June alone, more than a dozen famous couples have welcomed babies.
Among them is Danish model and actress Brigitte Nielsen.
Brigitte, who is already mom to four boys, Raoul Meyer Jr., 23, Douglas Meyer, 25, Killian Gastineau, 28, and Julian Winding, 34, made headlines a few weeks ago when she announced that she was expecting her fifth child at the age of 54.
She revealed the news in an Instagram post captioned with, "happy time â¤ï¸ positive vibes #happyness #positivevibes."
The Rocky IV star, who was married to actor Sylvester Stallone between 1985 and 1987, admitted that she was interested in trying IVF two years after tying the knot with Italian model Mattias Desi, 39.
"After I do Playboy, we want to try IVF. It's asking a lot, but if it's possible, it would make our package complete," Nielsen told Hello! Magazine back in 2008.
10 years later, Brigitte finally got her wish when she welcomed a beautiful baby girl on June 22.
"We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives," the new mom told People. "It's been a long road, and so worth it. We've never been more in love."
Brigitte and Mattais have maintained low profiles since their daughter's birth, but the new mom finally shared a photo of the baby exclusively with People.
Unlike some of the recent celebrity baby names we've encountered, the actress and her husband chose a classic name that reflects Brigitte's Scandinavian roots: Frida.
The moniker comes from the Old Norse name Fríí°a, which means "beautiful, beloved." The name is also popular in central and eastern Europe, where some interpret it to mean "peace."
Baby Frida couldn't have come at a better time for Brigitte, who explained that she wasn't ready to have kids before because of her years-long alcohol addiction. She admitted to being "a bad mum at times," but she bounced back after her family pushed her seek treatment.
It's surely going to be an interesting time in Brigitte's life now that she'll have to deal with changing diapers and feedings after not having done it in over 20 years.
Frida is just the latest celebrity baby to be born over the last few weeks.
Husband and wife team and stars of HGTV's Fixer Upper Chip and Joanna Gaines welcomed their fifth child, a son named Crew.
Desperate Housewives alum Eva Longoria and her hubby Jose Baston also had their first child, son Santiago Enrique Bastón.
Former Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly celebrated the arrival of their fifth child, Gwendolyn.
The Duggar family also got a little bigger as Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell welcomed their first child, Garrett David.
