Recent developments in the Jolie-Pitt divorce drama reveal that the Hollywood power couple have decided to call-off the proceedings.
While conflicting reports suggest that the divorce isn't officially "off," only that the process is being delayed while the couple attempt a reconciliation of sorts.
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt last summer, but friends close to the couple say that she is having second thoughts. According to reports from Elle, she regrets her decision after the messy aftermath and "smear campaign" against Pitt.
US Weekly reports that once source confirms that the couple "haven't done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to."
According to reports in Harpers Bazaar, there was one thing Pitt could do to stay the divorce proceedings and now that he has finally done it, they just may call the whole thing off.
Find out why they may have changed their minds about the divorce on the next page...
It has nearly been a year since the Jolie-Pitt power couple announced their intention to divorce following an alleged plane ride incident.
Jolie claimed that Pitt had crossed the line by "lunging" at Maddox who was verbally defending his mother during an argument.
Hapar's Bazaar reported at the time that it was unclear whether Pitt had been drinking prior to the altercation. Jolie later filed for divorce seeking sole physical custody of the couple's children.
Now, sources close to the couple reveal that Jolie might even consider taking him back "if he showed he was committed to raising a family."
"She's still in love with him," says another source to Us Weekly.
The turning point for the couple allegedly came after Brad's own about-face. The actor recently revealed to GQ that he was "boozing" so much that he "could drink a Russia under the table with his own vodka."
Pitt has reportedly quit drinking and begun doing the self-work needed to regain Jolie's trust. "He got sober to try and win her back."
"He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of. And that's all she ever wanted," the source said.
Neither Jolie, nor Pitt have commented on the possible reconciliation, it is likely that they're keeping things private to protect their children.
Do you think they're trying to make it work, or are these rumors probably untrue?
