Mama....
If you just read that and said in your head "ouu ouu ouu" then you're probably about to be very happy.
Bohemian Rhapsody was a box office smash and recently won a Golden Globe for Best Picture. The producers are gearing up for the Oscars where star Rami Malek is expected to take home the coveted award for best actor.
Despite some controversy surrounding the notoriously private singer's personal life, almost all audiences were singing the praises of the movie. After a recent announcement from Fox and New Regency, the studios that produced the movie, audiences might be singing more than that.
On Friday, January 11, Bohemian Rhapsody will be re-released as a special "singalong" version in 750 locations around North America.
"We are delighted to give audiences the opportunity to see this outstanding Golden Globe-winning film featuring Rami Malek's amazing Golden Globe-winning performance in theaters all over the U.S. and Canada in both its original form and in a never-before-experienced "˜sing-along' version," said Chris Aronson, a Fox executive.
The movie features several of Queen's greatest hits, so if you're going to sing you'll be able to get your money's worth.
The song "Bohemian Rhapsody" is paradoxically one of the most singable, and hardest to sing properly, songs of all time. It's unclear how the singalong version will look on the big screen, but I'm imagining something akin to the lyrics on the bottom and a device to tell you how fast to sing.
Are you excited for a singalong version?
