The passing of President George H. W. Bush has left the nation mourning the loss of a great statesman. Many people are sharing memories of the career politician and people from both parties are saluting the work he did.
Bush was from a different era of politics, one that we often associate with Bill Clinton and all the talk that he brings, but there were many political leaders from that time. Perhaps none more influential than Bob Dole.
At 95, Dole has largely stepped out of the public light, but he made a big return when he went to the Capitol Rotunda to pay his respects to the fallen President.
The video is both heart-warming and heart-wrenching. Dole received severe injuries in serving his country during World War 2, and has been battling health issues since the early 2000s. Through all this, he still wanted to stand and salute the man who was president during an influential time in Dole's senate service.

He requires great assistance, but the moment is a tribute to both of these great politicians.
