Bindi Irwin and longtime boyfriend Chandler Powell have made it official - he put a ring on it!

While we might remember her as her father, Steve Irwin's long time side kick, Bindi is all grown up now.

Some things are meant to be.

Bindi Irwin first met the love of her life Chandler Powell four years ago when he visited the Australian Zoo in Queensland. This happened to be the same place that her father fell in love with her mother many years ago.

"It's funny how that works," the 19-year-old said.

"On my birthday I said ‘yes’ and ‘forever’ to the love of my life. Chandler, close to 6 years ago I fell in love with you and every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure and true happiness. I’m so looking forwarding to spending our forever together as your wife. Here’s to a lifetime of friendship, purpose and unconditional love. — Now let’s get married already!"

Powell, an American born and raised in Florida, first met Bindi on a family vacation in 2013. After exchanging several letters, the two met again in the U.S. before publicly declaring themselves a couple in September 2015.

"I'm lucky I have found the one, the person I want to spend all my time with," Bindi shares. "Mum and Robert and I have talked about that a lot. We all think dad would have loved Chandler."
