After a year of health and happiness, Beth Chapman is facing another medical crisis.
The reality star, who hunted down fugitives alongside her husband Dog on Dog the Bounty Hunter, has reportedly been rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.
Beth was previously treated for throat cancer in 2017, including an operation to remove a tumor, but proudly declared she was cancer-free almost a year ago.
On Tuesday, Dog's son Duane Lee confirmed to Page Six that Beth is at Cedars-Sinai hospital for surgery in "life-threatening" condition.
The Blast reports that Beth developed a "blockage" in her throat, and had visited a specialist in Los Angeles before today's hospital visit.
Beth was spotted enjoying a night out with Dog in West Hollywood on Monday, and smiled for photographers, so it seems that her most recent health crisis developed very suddenly.
Earlier this year, Beth shared a proud photo of her surgery star with a candid message about finding confidence in her changed appearance.
"Prior to my surgery, I had no lines, no wrinkles, a perfect neck, if you will. It has been very hard to look at this in the mirror, it serves as a constant reminder of something I'd love to forget," she wrote.
"However, some life lessons from them and learn from them and learn to embrace them. So today, I reveal my worst battle scar and know that things will get better in #2018."
Let's hope that Beth proves to be right, and this hospital visit turns out to be less serious than it seemed.
