Hollywood movies and TV shows give us the impression that love is all about big, crazy gestures, but really the best things about being in love are the little details that make every day so great.
Since 2014, South Korean artist Puuung has created these stunning watercolor paintings for a series called Love Is, inspired by moments from her own life.
"Love comes in ways that we can easily overlook in our daily lives," she explains.
"So, I try to find the meaning of love in our daily lives and make it into artwork."
Her paintings were recently made into this animated short, but the original pieces are just as sweet!
Love isEveryone can relate to love and the best thing about love is that it radiates in even the smallest things in life. I'm taking these little pieces of life and recreating its hidden messages on my "Love is..." illustrations.
