Say you ran out of crackers, bread or anything needed to make a mini sandwich?! What do you do? Use pickles of course!
Tuna sandwiches were always on the menu when I was a kid and still are today. Next party you throw check out these tuna with herbaceous dill sandwiched between 2 crunchy pickle slices!
Ingredients:
- 1 can tuna
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 pinch dill
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sliced dill pickles
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, mix together the tuna, mayonnaise, dill, and salt and pepper, then chill in the refrigerator about 30 minutes, or until chilled.
- Assemble sandwiches with one sliced dill pickle as the bottom, a scoop of the tuna mixture, then add another sliced dill pickle on top, securing with a toothpick. Continue assembling "sandwiches" until all ingredients are done.
- Serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator until ready to eat. Enjoy!
