<div><p>Air India made history on Friday for a very special reason. The airline's Flight AI 174 was the first to fly around the world with a female-only crew, <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/06/asia/air-india-all-women-crew-record/index.html">CNN</a> reports. </p><p>To mark the upcoming International Women's Day, the crew flew from New Delhi, India to San Francisco, CA last Monday, travelled over the Pacific Ocean then flew over the Atlantic back to touch back down in New Delhi on Friday.</p><div><amp-img src="https://scontent.fxds1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/16991882_898506826957853_4243582838844500908_o.jpg?oh=c7493d130fc180c2cb0fa360c966bacb&oe=59330A2E" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img></div><p>Air India noted in a Facebook <a href="https://www.facebook.com/AirIndia/posts/898507126957823">statement</a> that every aspect of this flight was operated by women from 8 departments including "cockpit crew, cabin crew, check-In staff, doctor, customer care Staff, ATC and the entire ground handling from operator to technician, engineer and flight dispatcher and trimmer."
