When the doctor came in and told her she'd never walk again she didn't believe it.</p><p>"In the beginning I thought, well, when someone breaks a bone, they heal," she told TODAY. "I didn't really understand the extent of what had happened."</p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>While out with friends one night Hill got into a car with a friend who had been drinking. They ran head on into a tree, breaking Hill's back.</p><p>In the weeks after the accident Hill never lost her love for dancing.</p><div><figure><amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/04/hilldance-business-insider.jpg" title="Dancing" alt="Dancing" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img><figcaption class="op-vertical-center"><cite>Business Insider</cite></figcaption></figure></div><p>"I was like 'Okay, how am I going to get dressed? How am I doing to do this?' but I always knew I would dance again."</p><p>She met a group of women at a wheelchair support group after she was released from hospital. That's where she got the idea for The Rollettes - the first wheelchair only dance troupe.</p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>Launched in 2012, the Rollettes are now a big deal.
