Having a connection to the spiritual realm is something that not everyone understands. Some people claim that they can talk to spirits, while others think that it's impossible. Whether you believe it or not, even some celebrities believe that they are connected to ghosts from the past.
Some of your favorite stars have had experiences that they couldn't explain with anything other than psychic activity. Whether they were contacted from spirits or looking right at a ghost, these 7 celebrities have had some paranormal experiences that have us wondering if they are connected to another spiritual realm.
1. Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson
We're counting this mother and daughter duo as one, but they have revealed that they both experience paranormal situations. Both claim that they "can see dead people." Husdon clarified, "it is not really seeing, it is feeling a spirit. A fifth energy. I believe in energy. I believe our brains can manifest into visual things." There also was an experience where Hudson claims to have seen a "ghost of a woman with no face."
2. Joan Crawford
Joan Crawford experienced a strange situation when she was trying to sleep one night. She was afraid of the dark and would sleep with a lamp on, but one night around 11 p.m. her lamp started flickering from very bright to completely out. She called an electrician to fix it but he couldn't find anything wrong with it. She switched rooms in her house, hoping a different light would be fine, but for the next four nights the same thing happened.
On the fifth morning she received word that a friend of hers had died at midnight, and had been struggling to stay alive for the last four nights. After this, Crawford never experienced any other light problems.
3. Khloe Kardashian
Kardashian met with Hollywood Medium's Tyler Henry and she discussed her psychic ability with him. "I don't think I could like, read her palm but I have a very great intuition and I feel energies and spirits really well," Khloe said. "I'm not saying 'Oh my God there's a ghost in the corner!' But I know when I feel something and I pay that respect."
4. Elvis Presley
Elvis was believed to have healing powers. It first came about when he was on a ski trip with a friend who had an accident and injured his knee. Elvis laid his hands right on the injury and then the person was suddenly able to walk again.
In another instance, a driver pulled over on the side of the road because of chest pain, but Elvis stopped, wrapped his arm around the man's shoulder and put his hand over his heart and told him it would be okay. The pain stopped immediately but Elvis did make sure that an ambulance was called.
Elvis also claimed to have psychokinetic powers (the ability to move objects with his mind) and said he could turn on and off the sprinklers in his home.
5. Miley Cyrus
The singer admitted that she had a terrifying experience in London. "It was seriously so terrifying. It used to be an old bakery and they turned it into an apartment building, and I was having really crazy dreams and really scary things. And one night my little sister"”it sounds crazy to tell you"”but, she was standing in the shower and all of a sudden I hear her scream. I run in there and the water had somehow flipped to hot but it was still...It wasn't like the water had just changed, the knob had turned but she hadn't turned it and it was burning her. She was really red."
Later, in the same place she saw a small boy "sitting on the sink watching [her] take a shower." She wasn't sure what was going on. "I felt really freaked out," she said. "I was sitting there the next night and maybe I'm crazy, but I could have sworn I could see this little boy sitting there on the sink, kicking his feet."
6. George Washington
Washington claimed to have experienced three spiritual visitations known as the "three great perils." They were interpreted as different wars that have affected the country. The first detailed the Revolutionary War, the second was the Civil War and the third is one that has not taken place yet involving Europe, Asia, and Africa. All three visions are recorded in the Library of Congress.
7. Abraham Lincoln
Lincoln and his wife were part of the Spiritualism movement and were known to hold seances in the White House. Lincoln also claimed that he knew he would be president when he was only 12 years old, and he even predicted his own death just days before it happened.
He is said to have dreamed that he saw a funeral taking place at the White House, and when he asked a soldier who died they responded, "the president. He was killed by an assassin." A few days later he went to the theater, allegedly saying goodbye instead of goodnight.
