Dogs just might be the most pure creatures on the planet. The way they rush over to you when you get home from a long day; tail-wagging, tongue hanging out - desperate for your attention. There's nothing better. The longer the day the bigger the reaction.
Make it a few months and the water works will really start flowing. So now, because I'm thinking you haven't cried yet today, I've put together 6 moving videos that will make you smile, cry, laugh, and make that weird sound people make when they try to quiet a sob.
Sounds fun doesn't it!
A Boy and His Dog
Lennox is a young boy from Tennessee who is particularly fond of his neighbor's dog Bogart. The two were inseparable, but Bogart's owner is a musician and took his dog on tour with him for over a year. Lennox missed Bogart every day he was gone, and had no idea when he'd be coming back. He came home from school one day to find his 4-legged friend and your emotions are about to hit an all-time high.
Romeo oh Romeo
P.J. is a cadet in the Air Force, as such he spends long amounts of time away from home. His parents understand, but his dog, Romeo, hasn't caught on. Each time P.J. is sent away the dog goes into mourning. P.J. returned home when Romeo was in the garden and if you look closely you can tell the moment that Romeo catches his favorite pilot's scent.
Reunion Sandwich
Everyone's happy to see a soldier return safe and sound, but I can't think of 2 happier dogs than these. This Private's dogs make him the meat in their happy sandwich when they corral him and go nuts.
More happy reunions that you need to see on the next page!
Take a breath and maybe get some Kleenex. Why do happy videos make us choke up? I'll never know, but I just can't get enough of them.
Airport Pickup
Airports have the best reunions, and we all know the feeling of stepping off a plane and into the arms of a loved one. It's even more special when those arms are actually paws.
Golden Retriever Heaven
You may have seen this video before, but I'm including it because it's the King of Soldier/Dog reunion videos. Viewed over 20 million times here is the video of Gracie rushing to meet her owner who just returned from Afghanistan at the height of the war.
I'm Not Crying She's Crying
Actually we're all crying, but the dog in particular. This pup has a very vocal reaction to being reunited with her Armed Forces owner.
