Somehow you seem to have more time in the summer to go see movies, but the problem is that there are SO many movies to see, how do you choose?
Don't worry, as per usual I've got you covered. These are the summer's hottest movies that you basically have to see...otherwise, you're going to be out of the loop and totally lame.
10. Ant-Man And The Wasp
Paul Rudd is the most underrated superhero in the Marvel universe, but he and Evangeline Lily are back this summer to bring comedy and bad-assery back to the big screen!
RELEASE DATE: July 6
9. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
You've got Cher in a movie that's full of ABBA music. What more do you want? The star-power in this movie alone is what should get you excited.
RELEASE DATE: July 19
8. Deadpool 2
It's really going to be the summer of Marvel, and Deadpool 2 is a big part of that. He may not be part of the Avengers, but Ryan Reynolds has Celine Dion...so who is the real winner here?
RELEASE DATE: May 18
7. The Spy Who Dumped Me
Kate McKinnon is poised to kill it alongside Mila Kunis in this action comedy. McKinnon and Kunis end up in an international conspiracy after Kunis's ex-boyfriend turns out to be a CIA agent who is being hunted by assassins.
RELEASED DATE: August 3
6. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
The Jurassic Park franchise is arguably one of the most successful reboots in history, which is why Fallen Kingdom has found its way onto this list.
RELEASE DATE: June 22
5. Ocean's 8
I know there's been too many reboots recently, but Ocean's 8 has an all-star cast that is guaranteed to produce a winner. Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter make for an incomparable cast.
You don't even need to know the plot. Bullock alone is reason to see it.
RELEASE DATE: June 8
4. Sorry To Bother You
This movie isn't getting nearly enough publicity, but it's bound to be a winner. Lakeith Stanfield plays Cassius Green, a telemarketer who realizes that if he adopts a white accent, he can do better at his job.
It's billed as a sci-fi comedy, which sounds amazing.
RELEASE DATE: July 6
3. Avengers: Infinity War
Yes, this movie has already come out. No, that doesn't mean it's not a summer movie. Yes, you need to see it every weekend this summer. If you need more convincing, might I point you in the direction of Chris Evans's beard?
RELEASE DATE: April 27th (it's already out)
2. Searching
I'm not one who loves thrillers, but John Cho could turn me. In this movie, his daughter goes missing and he turns to her online life to help find her. It all takes place on a computer screen, and it gives an interesting look as to how we live online vs real life.
RELEASE DATE: August 3
1. Incredibles 2
I mean, does this even need to be explained? We have been waiting for this for 14 years. It's time.
