There's no particular right way or wrong way; but an easier way does exist. Check out these 10 common items in your household that you may have been using wrong for a very long time.
Heating Leftovers
Spread your cold leftovers so that the middle of the plate is empty. Place your food in the microwave and you'll notice that your food will heat up much more evenly. No more semi-cold and semi-hot leftovers!
Eating Takeout
There's no need to put your takeout meal on another plate. If the meal comes in a box, it probably can be turn into a paper plate.
Here's a useful video showing how to turn a pizza box into plates and how to make the box smaller to store your leftovers in your fridge.
Wearing Earbuds
This may not work for all earbuds, but if you've found that earbuds slip out of your ear often, it may be because they're not inserted correctly. Looping it over your ear will secure its position.
Tic Tac
Tic Tac bottles appear to be designed terribly. You are in dire need to freshen your breath and then suddenly half the bottle is emptied out. However, it's possible to dispense a single Tic Tac. Take a look at the picture below.
Warming Drawer
If you use the drawer under your oven as a storage spot, you're using it wrong. It's called a warming drawer and it's used to do just that. Place hot food in there and it will keep your food warmer for longer.
Juice Boxes
There's no right or wrong way to drink from a juice box, but there is perhaps an easier method. Pull up the tabs on both sides to turn them into handles.
Soda Can Tabs
If you choose to drink from a straw, placing the straw through the hole in the tab will avoid the straw from swaying and sometimes falling out.
Shirt Loop
This loop is used to hold the shirt on a clothes line or hang it on a hook without it getting wrinkled.
Pots
The hole in the handle of your pot can be used to place your wooden spoon there. That way, you won't make a mess or waste another plate to place the cooking utensil on.
Aluminum Foil and Plastic Wrap
Holding the box with one hand and trying to rip out the aluminum foil or plastic wrap with the other isn't that easy. It's annoying when it rips unevenly and crumbles together. If you look at the sides of the box, you'll see tabs that can be pushed in. This tab helps to secure the roll in place.
